Dr. Omar Jeroudi graduated with Highest Honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Biochemistry. He earned his MD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, where he continued on to complete his internship and residency training in Internal Medicine. His research and academic pursuits during residency earned him the Most Published Resident award in the Department of Medicine. As a native Houstonian, he came back to train as a fellow in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology at the Houston Methodist Hospital DeBakey Heart and Vascular Center. While in his fellowship, he earned the prestigious H. Liston Beazley Award for Clinical Excellence in recognition of excellence in clinical practice, professionalism, and humanitarianism.
